Lavie Woods stood steadfast on her decision, there was little the other woman could do that would make her change it. Silence passed between them as they stood staring coldly into each other’s eyes, they had been though so much together yet still here they were. A faint glow from the full moon outside gave the stain glass windows in this old house of God an eerie feeling of life, as if they witnessed and judged to two before them.
After what felt like hours, the woman finally spoke in a tone full of regret as her eyes sank slowly to the floor. “I’m sorry Lavie, but that’s just one risk I cannot take.” It
